A Flood is Coming!

I’ve been wanting to write this post for a while, but every time I went to write it my timing felt a little early. So I kept postponing it. Today, however, feels different. Today I feel urgency. So here goes.

For years I’ve been dreaming of a huge flood. Sometimes my dream is about a single wave that is so big it has the ability to drown an entire city and other times the wave is off in the distance. What do the dreams mean? Well, in the dreams I’m usually scared because of the potential danger, but in reality the coming flood represents the time we are now entering into — the time of the Spirit:

But the earth will be filled
with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD,
as the waters cover the sea. –Hab. 2:14

Prophetic Word for 2019 – The Holy Spirit Will Come Like a Flood

The dreams speak about how a huge move of the Holy Spirit is coming. And it’s going to be amazing! Back in 2004 I had a vision of what this time would look like.

One day while praying for Canada, I saw a map of the country and so I said, “Holy Spirit, I see a map.” The Spirit responded with, “I have established the apostles, I have released the prophets, and I am about to release the evangelists.” I then saw vegetables being squeezed over top the map of Canada and so I said, “Holy Spirit, I see vegetables being squeezed out.” The Spirit replied, “This is the harvest that is coming.” As the vegetables were being squeezed out, drops of juice fell onto the map. Everywhere a drop fell a flower sprung up. As this was happening, I said, “Holy Spirit, I see flowers springing up!” And the Spirit replied, “This is righteousness.” As the flowers sprung up and blossomed across the whole of Canada, the map soon became completely covered with stunning flowers. It was beautiful.

The vision (I was awake during the whole vision) immediately reminded me of the words “now it springs forth” as found in Isaiah:

Do not remember the former things, or consider the things of old. I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. The wild animals will honor me, the jackals and the ostriches; for I give water in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to my chosen people, the people whom I formed for myself so that they might declare my praise. –Is. 43:18–21

For as the earth brings forth its shoots, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to spring up, so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations. –Is. 61:11

This vision regarding the release of evangelists paints the picture of a huge revival that is destined to take place not only in Canada but across the world, starting in 2019. This revival originally began around 2004-05 but was then postponed due to many factors that affected the Body of Christ, including power struggles, disunity, mistrust, negativity, and insecurity and fear. Despite the initial setbacks, God still intends to release the evangelists so that they can join the work God has planned. Many evangelists that will be working during this season will be women.

However, the harvest of people that will be collected during this coming revival that begins in 2019 will be remarkably different from past revivals — this coming harvest will carry with it complete transformation. In other words, the people who will be collected in this harvest will be coming out of the waters of baptism completely restored — the sin of Noah will not take place during this revival. We will witness “righteousness” in its full glory. But take note, for those of us who think we know what righteousness looks like we must be prepared to accept what the Spirit brings. Ultimately, the Spirit determines righteousness. It is as our scriptures say, “Wisdom is justified by her children.”

The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ But wisdom is justified by her children. –Mt. 11:19

These children of Wisdom (Wisdom is the H0ly Spirit) will accomplish much because they will wholeheartedly seek and follow Her.  You may have just noticed that I referred to the Spirit as “She.” This is part of my unique calling. I am helping to bring about the restoration of Eve, which includes (1) understanding the revelation of the Holy Spirit as our Mother and (2) understanding that a woman’s identity is as a fully-fledged image bearer (there is not an “image of God” — Eve — that was created with less authority than their counterpart, Adam).

Our God is a family unified by mutual love (not by patriarchy) and much healing is needed in the area of honoring mothers and releasing women into their God-given callings. Right now women are being increasingly stirred up so they will preach and teach the gospel with great boldness and great love. In other words, the other image of God is being stirred up intensely for such a time as this.

During this new revival there will be no value in looking to the old ways (such as “no women allowed”). The old systems will not benefit us during this time. Seeking the Spirit and following the leading of the Holy Spirit while trusting in what Jesus has accomplished will be extremely valuable. For this reason, I will be posting about how the Holy Spirit developed a relationship with me so that others, who may be struggling in this area, can move into deeper relationship. Ultimately, each of us is needed so that the body can grow to maturity. Our enemy hopes we will exclude women — or (more effectively) women will exclude themselves — because then we are merely half a body of Christ, unable to mature:

The gifts [Jesus] gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ. —Eph. 4:11–13

The Whole World is about to be Baptized

Yes, the whole world is about to be baptized. That’s how big this coming flood will be. The “baptismal waters of the Spirit” are about to cover the entire earth. We are on the brink of seeing this happen. What we are about to witness is the words of Jesus coming into fruition:

For as the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark, and they knew nothing until the flood came and swept them all away, so too will be the coming of the Son of Man.  –Mt. 24:37–39, bold added

A flood — like the one in Noah’s day — is coming to the earth. However, this flood won’t bring death like the original flood; God has promised that:

When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. –Gen. 9:14–15

This coming flood is something entirely new — it will bring LIFE. And thanks to the LGBT movement, every year the world is covered with the rainbow as a reminder that what is coming is not meant to hurt us but to give us life and freedom — in the Spirit. In Noah’s flood only eight persons were saved, but in this coming flood billions will be saved through “the waters of baptism”:

God waited patiently in the days of Noah, during the building of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were saved through water. And baptism, which this prefigured, now saves you—not as a removal of dirt from the body, but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. –1 Pet. 3:20–21

The Flood of Revival is Steadily Growing

Now just lately (2018/19) my flood dreams have taken a significant turn. Instead of seeing large waves, I am now seeing the beginning of a flood. In one dream water was puddling around my ankles, and I said, “A flood is coming… I better tell everyone!” In the next dream, the flood was now slightly higher and other people were beginning to notice the water. I said, “The flood is here.” When I asked what I was seeing, this is the verse I was given:

Then he brought me back to the entrance of the temple; there, water was flowing from below the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east); and the water was flowing down from below the south end of the threshold of the temple, south of the altar. Then he brought me out by way of the north gate, and led me around on the outside to the outer gate that faces toward the east; and the water was coming out on the south side.

Going on eastward with a cord in his hand, the man measured one thousand cubits, and then led me through the water; and it was ankle-deep. Again he measured one thousand, and led me through the water; and it was knee-deep. Again he measured one thousand, and led me through the water; and it was up to the waist.  Again he measured one thousand, and it was a river that I could not cross, for the water had risen; it was deep enough to swim in, a river that could not be crossed. He said to me, “Mortal, have you seen this?”

Then he led me back along the bank of the river. As I came back, I saw on the bank of the river a great many trees on the one side and on the other. He said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah; and when it enters the sea, the sea of stagnant waters, the water will become fresh. Wherever the river goes, every living creature that swarms will live, and there will be very many fish, once these waters reach there. It will become fresh; and everything will live where the river goes. People will stand fishing beside the sea from En-gedi to En-eglaim; it will be a place for the spreading of nets; its fish will be of a great many kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea. But its swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they are to be left for salt. On the banks, on both sides of the river, there will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither nor their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for healing.”  –Ezek. 47:1–12

The “spreading of nets” represents the coming evangelists who have been called by Jesus to work in unity with the Spirit (who is the river of flowing water that proceeds from the temple — Jesus is the original temple, but we are also temples of the Spirit). Once again, people will witness what took place during Jesus’ time on earth:

As [Jesus] walked by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea—for they were fishermen. And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fish for people.” –Mt. 4:18–19

A flood is typically a terrifying occurrence. This coming spiritual flood may also seem to be equally as terrifying to those who like to be in control. But there will be no way to control the coming waters. Those who think they are in control of the church will learn quickly that they are not in control. As unleashed water tends to do, it will move swiftly, it will overcome barriers, it may even destroy some things that stand in its way. To flourish in this coming revival requires uniting ourselves with the plans of the Spirit who dwells within us — let the Spirit flow from your life, trust what She says She can accomplish through you. Journey with Her. Let your temple overflow with Her presence. She knows what is best because She is God. And She is awesome…
